I love Bart. People accuse him of being aggressive and sweary, but in reality, he’s a sweetheart. He’s also massively knowledgeable. We go into so much in this episode and really put the world to rights… then have to admit that nobody actually knows how to do that! Bart Kay is an emeritus professor in cardiovascular and respiratory physiology, exercise physiology, nutrition, research methods, and statistics. Bart has published a number of peer reviewed research and review articles, as well as textbook chapters over the last several decades. External consultancies have included the NZ All Blacks, the NRL, and both NZ and Australian Defense Forces… Bart has taught in a number of senior academic roles based in New Zealand, Australia, the US, and the UK.
